I had the Exige out at Thunderhill last weekend for a two day run with Hooked on Driving. This was my first time out since having the Nitrons and Titan steering rack installed and I hadn't been out on Thunderhill for since before the resurfaced the track. It wasn't the ideal shakedown for the new suspension that I would have preferred. Haven't been on the track for eight months...New suspension...New surface...
I was so slow the first day, especially in the morning. And I was in a surprisingly fast run group too, so I felt even slower. My braking points, which were never very good at Thunderhill to begin with, were suddenly way off. But by the end of Sunday, I'd really picked up speed and was passing everything on the track, including some instructor driven, race prepared[1] cars.
